1. Who is responsible for your data
SKUBIART LIMITED is the data controller for personal information collected through skubihotelbook.com. You can reach us at info@skubihotelbook.com or at the postal address on the contact page. This policy applies to the website and to email and telephone correspondence that follows from it.
2. What we collect
Information you give us. When you use the booking form, the site holds your chosen hotel, dates, guest count and room count in your browser only; nothing is sent to us until you submit the contact form. The contact form collects your name, email address, telephone number (optional), your message and your consent to this policy. If you go on to book, we also collect the details needed to make the reservation, such as guest names, arrival times and any special requests you give us.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We use these to keep the site secure and to understand which pages are visited. We do not run advertising trackers or social-media pixels.
Payment information. We do not take card details through this website. Payment for a confirmed booking is handled by the hotel or by a payment provider named in your quote, under their own security standards.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The site sets no cookies of its own. The booking form keeps your search in the page while you are on it and forgets it when you leave. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google's servers when a page opens; Google's privacy policy governs that request. If we introduce analytics in future we will update this section and ask for your consent first.
4. Why we use your information and on what basis
- Answering your request and preparing a quote – necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
- Making and managing a booking – necessary to perform the contract between you and the hotel, with us acting as intermediary.
- Keeping the site secure and fixing faults – our legitimate interest in running a reliable service.
- Meeting legal obligations such as accounting and tax rules, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.
- Sending you offers – only if you have opted in, and you can opt out from any email.
5. Who we share it with
To make a booking we pass guest names, dates and requests to the hotel you have chosen and, where relevant, to its booking platform. We use service providers for email, web hosting and document storage; they process data only on our instructions. Hotels outside the United Kingdom, including those in the United States, Singapore, Monaco and the Bahamas, receive your booking details in their own country; for those transfers we rely on the transfer being necessary to perform your contract. We never sell personal information.

7. Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy; correct inaccurate data; erase data we no longer need; restrict or object to particular processing; and receive the data you gave us in a portable format. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To exercise any right, email info@skubihotelbook.com; we respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom or to the supervisory authority in your own country.
8. Children
The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 and will delete it if we learn we have done so. Parents booking family rooms may give us children's first names and ages solely for the reservation.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Correspondence and booking records are stored in access-controlled systems available only to the staff handling your request. No method of transmission is completely secure, so if you suspect your data has been misused please contact us straight away.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for at least 30 days.
